Last year the project held its first public event to showcase Arches database alongside several activities highlighting the achievements made in Phase 1 (2020 – 2024). Collaborators from over 11 countries gathered in Nairobi, where the British Institute In Eastern Africa (BIEA) and the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) hosted members for three days of collaborative meetings and future planning for the long term sustainability of the project. In this issue we provide an overview of this salient event.
