Postgraduate Research Fellow for Kenya
Angela is a Postgraduate Research Fellow at the British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA). She has a BA in Archaeology (University of Nairobi), an MSc in Tourism Management (University of Surrey) and an MSc in Geographical Information Sciences (Lund University).
Angela has worked at the National Museums of Kenya all her professional life, starting off as a Research Intern, Research Assistant, and now as a Research Scientist.
I’m passionate about digging up the past (literally) and working with young people to teach them about the importance of the past. I feel lucky to have enjoyment and fulfilment from my roles and from working with old things.
Aside from her involvement on the MAEASaM project Angela enjoys reading, walking and travelling.
